personally, i tend to agree with this 112%. upon reading this to my wife (while attempting to help do dishes none the less) she emphatically denounced the idea under the argument "how many times have we been driving and you've said, 'Look at that!'" i tried to tell her this was a completely different story because while driving one cannot take the time for a full explanation, else the topic of interest will be long past before the second party even attempts to see it, so therefore i merely point (and then give the explanation while she's looking so that hopefully having her eyes in the general direction will allow time to see what i'm talking about). anyone else's thoughts? you've at least gotta back me up on the driving thing, n'est pas? ...right?

IN OTHER NEWS: just saw wall-e tonight. it's great. highly recommended for kids of all ages. and grown ups too. although hopefully seeing it will turn you back into kids. :-)

silly iTunes

i am currently ripping That Hideous Strength (which is, by the way, one of my all-time favourite books) from cd into iTunes. i have already done this with Perelandra, and with that book it worked perfectly. whatever place out in the nether-regions of the internet tells iTunes what disk it is reading was spot-on with each disk. with That Hideous Strength, however, it seems to fail utterly. the first 5 disks of it, it tried to tell me were all disk 4 of 8 in the book Six Great Scientists by Eileen Ramsay and composed by Elizabeth Von Arnum. which was of course wrong. in fact, have looked it up and the book wasn't even written by her at all, but by a J.G. Crowther. and if that wasn't enough, it now tells me that disk 6 is actually disk 1 of Surprised by Joy, and not even the Lewis book, but one written by Susan somethingorother. stupid iTunes.

disk 7 is back to the scientists one, by the way...

oh wow, get this...i put in disk 9 and it told me this:
